New Blog!

If your reading this then welcome! And if you don't know me already, my name is Charlene, I used  to do comic book reviews for Malta comic con and my own personal blog (when its right in front of you) along with publishing two poems in the Clare Champion newspaper a few years ago. And not that's it's a huge deal but my old comic book reviewing blog was nominated for best Irish comic book related blog of 2012 by Irish comic news! 🙂

• It's been a hot minute since I last blogged anything and to say the least, I have missed it very much! So to start 2020 off, I have decided to go back to my first love...Photography!

I haven't used a camera properly in almost 7 years, I know.. how can I call it love after such neglect right? But in my defence, like most love, it kind of crushed my soul when I decided to go from amateur hobbyist photographer to worker bee photographer... I got a bad taste in my mouth after doing a certain job for some people at a big do...

long story short, I gave up and never looked back, but that is until recently. I had to give up my actual 9-5 job due to lung and hip issues, which miraculously made me miss photography and the feeling of being alone with mother nature and a Lens. So I'm starting a hobby class this month to help me get back into the swing of things and I'm so excited!

That being said I also started to miss dancing, writing and blogging, so as part of my new years resolution, I'll be spending more time with nature and writing about it alongside reviewing the books I read throughout the year for my goodreads challenge. I will be dancing in a studio starting this week too, Fitness and wellbeing is my main goal this year so, maybe I'll chat about that sometimes too! And so anyway, here I am, new year, new blog!
